I get super geeky about a lot of things.
First of all...music...duh.
I love music. I absolutely relish the chance to get lost in someone else's ideas. Music is a universal language that everyone can comprehend. Music is a form of math because you have to count and divide and syncopate. Music is a science because sound waves have definitive effects on the human brain. Music is an art because it is so expressive of a composer's thoughts and emotions. Music is great.
Secondly, I'm a huge nerd when it comes to random facts. They don't actually have any use in life, but I know random stuff.
Thirdly, I love reading. Similar to music, a book can take you into the writer's mind. A well written story can tell you a lot about what the author is going through. If I could invent one thing, it would be a machine that transports the user into the universe of a book of their choice.
Imagine being put into the Wizarding world of Harry Potter. Being sorted into a house and learning magic and potions. Competing in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Learning how to play Quidditch.
Imagine flying along with Maximum Ride. Feeling the wind flowing through your feathers. Flying with your favorite people in the world and feeling free.
Imagine fighting along side Percy Jackson. Joining Camp Half-Blood. Being claimed by a godly parent. Imagine learning how to fly a pegasus.
Books are windows into other possibilities.

Week 25
I would ask future me about very subtle things about the future.
I would ask if prom goes well.
I would ask if I graduate successfully.
I would ask how old future me is.
I would ask when we figured out how to time travel.
I would ask if he could show me how he time travels.
I would ask if I could be the one to introduce time travel so that I become rich and famous.
I would ask if that would cause a paradox.
I would ask if inventing time travel early would cause the meeting between future me and present me to never happen, therefore unraveling the fabric of reality.
I would ask what his favorite food is.
I would ask if he has a successful career.
I would ask if he could show me the future.
I would ask if people could fly.
I would ask if I was dreaming.
I would ask if the future learned how to record dreams.
I would ask if if they made any more Percy Jackson movies.
I would ask how many books Rick Riordan has written.
I would ask how much money he makes.
I would ask what his job actually is.
I would ask if I would be forced to repeat his decisions because he is me.
I would ask if everything he did was going to happen to me.
I would ask him if there is anything I should avoid doing to save me from pain and/or humiliation.
I would ask him if people still wear Converse.
I would ask him if I could keep something from the future.
I would ask him who the President is in his present.
I would ask him if Blogger is still a thing that people are required to do to pass a high school English class.
I would ask if prom goes well.
