Week 12

The most embarrassing song on my playlist would probably be the Gerbil Song by Stephen Lynch. This song came from my wonderful mother. She introduced me to quite a few songs that I cannot name due to this being a school. I don't know if this song was ever cool, but it's fun to sing along to when it comes on and I'm alone. Sometimes I will scar my friends by playing it with them in the car. I love to see the looks on their faces when they realize what the song is actually about. I can remember showing my friend Tyler this song. When the message finally clicked, he gave me a horrified look that made me laugh so hard I had to pull over so I didn't crash.

Week 4

If humanity had never invented ways to divide the day, time would be irrelevant. School would end when the lesson was finished. Work would end when the job was done. Nobody would be paid by the hour. Songs would seem infinite. The world as we know it would fall in to chaos because nobody would know when to start or stop doing things. There would be no reference to when something happened. History would cease to exist, because we wouldn't have dates or years. We wouldn't live in the 21st century. We would just live.

Week 3 Incomplete

Sitting on the stage and staring at the metaphorical audience in my mind, I realize that I don't know what I am an expert at.

Week 2

If I had to criticize myself on anything, it'd have to be my lack of initiative. In school especially, I never do things ahead of time. I always procrastinate and it typically ends with me not having an assignment done on time. I am terrible about it. I always tell myself that I have plenty of time to do the work, but then something comes up and I don't get it done. Other people have such amazing organization, but I struggle to keep my room clean. I'm honestly surprised that I have lasted 2 weeks without my locker looking like Ground Zero of a nuclear bomb drop. I'm hoping that by the end of the year, I will have avoided World War 3 in my locker.

Week 1

Senior year seems like it will honestly be easier than any year thus far. I could be wrong, but as long as I don't fall behind, this year should be a metaphorical walk in the metaphorical park. I'm glad to be back to school, but I could really use another week of hibernation to build up the energy I need to go to school every day. My classes aren't very challenging yet. Psychology seems like it might be challenging. Pre-calculus is going to be a struggle for many people if they don't start paying attention to Mrs. Rowald. The class is chaotic, but it should be one of the classes that has undivided attention. Overall, senior year will be fun.
